Black Business Month is coming to an end and as usual, I end up feeling like more could have been done to secure the future and sales for Black Entrepreneurs. It seems as if on Social Media, there are always questions on how to find BOB’s, and how to get started supporting them. My goal is that beyond the entire directory here at Buy Black Main Street, you can also utilize these resources to find and support more business owners.
How to Buy
The number one issue for people looking to Buy Black is the convenience. Luckily, I have that covered. Here is a post we have that features alternatives to shopping on Amazon, Wal-Mart or some of the other large retailers. We highlight businesses like Julo.shop and even Miirya, one of the more popular apps. However, at the end of the day, there is no one stop shop that encompasses everything at this point. These are great ways to get started and you always have the option of going direct to the brands, or yes, shopping with the Big platforms. While you may not want to, if you are going to, you can get and support Black owned businesses that are on them.
Outside of those Shopping Websites, here are other resources like Buy Black Main Street that help to direct you to Black Owned Businesses.
